Our Warranty

Five Year Product Warranty: 

Many thanks for your purchase and we hope that you enjoy our products for many years to come. 

The Music Cable Company manufacture quality cables using industry best connectors and cable products to ensure that we deliver a product that is designed to last and stand up to the rigours of the road for many years to come.  

We appreciate the investment that you have made in our products and are pleased to support your purchase with our extended Five-year Product Warranty and after this period our Aftercare Service. 

Warranty Details: 

This warranty is offered to the original purchaser of the cable (proof of purchase required) and applies, at this time, to UK purchases only (e.g., items purchased from us and shipped to a UK address).  Cables will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. 

Should you have an issue with any of our products please contact us, (via email sales@themusiccablecompany.com) detailing the issue and requesting a returns authorisation number and details of our return process. (Goods will not be accepted without a returns authorisation number.) 

Upon receipt our team will evaluate the returned item.  If the fault is deemed to be a manufacturing or component failure, a full repair or replacement cable will be offered at our discretion. 

Should we deem that the fault is due to improper use or handling, we will offer a quotation to repair or replace the cable for the price of the parts, this quotation will include a charge for return postage.  You then have the option to: 

1) Authorise this repair.  Upon receipt of payment the agreed work will commence. 

2) Request the return of the faulty cable.  Any postal charges incurred returning the cable to you will be charged in advance of shipping. 

Our promise to you is should you have any issues with our cables, we will endeavour to get the repair made and returned to you as quickly as possible. 


  • Product should have no evidence of being tampered with or mishandled. 
  • All heat shrink seals and strain reliefs and connectors should be intact. 
  • There should be no evidence of cutting damage to the cable/connectors or sleeve products. 
  • Please note general wear and tear as would be deemed to be expected under normal use is not covered by this warranty. 

(Apologies if we sound all official but we will use common sense as long as the cable does not look like it has been used to ‘tow a car’ or has been obviously abused.)  

Should it be necessary to replace any components we will endeavour to repair the item with the plugs/weave etc used in the initial manufacture, however, subject to the ongoing availability of these items, we reserve the right to use alternative components should this be the case. 

Please note some repairs (such as replacement plugs ends) may require the returned cable to be cut to allow a new cable termination to be made, this may result in a reduction of overall cable length. 

Where possible, when returning goods to us, they should be packed in the original shipping packaging supplied at time of purchase or a suitable alternative, as this is the packaging we will use to return your cable to you.

Postal Returns:  We would advise that ‘proof of posting’ and postal insurance options are used as The Music Cable Company cannot be held liable for items lost in transit. 

The Music Cable Company accepts no liability for any loss or damage resulting from misuse or failure of its products.
